A black company has gone to the Gauteng High Court to seek an urgent interdict against its Turkish partner after it took steps to kick it out of a R200 billion offshore liquefied natural gas deal.

Powergroup SA, a local black economic partner of Karadeniz Holdings, filed papers in the court on Friday, stating its disgruntlement with the treatment it was receiving from the Turkish partner and asking the court to stop it from transferring its shares to another BEE entity.
