Despite mounting allegations of a lavish lifestyle, fuelled by questionable contracts, no action is warranted from President Cyril Ramaphosa against his deputy, Paul Mashatile.
Presidency spokesperson Vincent Magwenya poured cold water on media reports exposing tenderpreneurs and friends with billions in government contracts, who apparently helped Mashatile maintain his lifestyle for years, including payments to girlfriends and stays in luxury homes.
On Thursday, Magwenya held a briefing detailing Ramaphosa’s schedule for the next two weeks.
