The latest session of the Zandile Gumede trial has come to an end and, while there was some progress in the matter, there were also delays.
Gumede is the former eThekwini Metro mayor who stepped down from her position after allegations of corruption in the Durban Solid Waste (DSW) unit linked her and 21 others to corruption amounting to R320 million.
Much of the first week of the October session was delayed.
