The UDM is celebrating its 26th anniversary as an opposition party in South African politics. Its president, General Bantu Holomisa, believes it is here to stay and could contribute to changing this country’s trajectory.
In an interview with City Press this week, Holomisa was adamant that. until there was a change in the political leadership of the country, nothing would improve. He said the ruling party, the ANC – his former political home – needed to be altered for the situation in this country to move in the right direction.
