Pharmacist on Imogen Mashazi’s R3.5m private jet landed lucrative Ekurhuleni fuel tender
– Former Ekurhuleni city manager Imogen Mashazi and three others took a R3.5-million private jet trip to London, failing to declare it as a gift as required by city policy.
– Within a year of the trip, pharmacist Dineo Seletswane, who was on the flight, secured a R10-million fuel-supply contract with the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality.
– Mashazi, Seletswane, and another passenger, Dr Tebogo Maleka, have all been evasive about who funded the trip, with Mashazi claiming it was a “private social event” with no conflict of interest.
