Invitation to Bid: Latest Tenters from Emfuleni Local Municipality
The Emfuleni Local Municipality has issued a public invitation to bid for several major service and maintenance contracts, spanning water treatment, electrical infrastructure, sewage response, and protective equipment maintenance.
According to the official bid notice, all interested bidders are required to comply with the minimum requirements and conditions stipulated in each tender document. The municipality’s Municipal Manager, Mr A. Ntuli Pr Tech Eng, MSAICE, confirmed that the tenders were officially issued under the authority of the Supply Chain Management Unit on 21 October 2025.

Bid Document Collection and Submission Details
• Collection of Documents:
Bid documents will be available for purchase from 29 October 2025 at 10h00 at the Emfuleni Local Municipality Offices, Vanderbijlpark, corner Klasie Havenga Street and Frikkie Meyer Boulevard (Ground Floor).
Office hours: 08h15 – 15h15, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).
The cost per document is R1,000.00, payable in cash or by bank-guaranteed cheque, and is non-refundable.
• Submission of Bids:
Sealed marked bids must be placed in the Bid Box (First Floor) at the Municipal Offices before 10h00 on the closing date. Late submissions will not be accepted.
All bids will be opened in public immediately after the closing time.
• Evaluation and Adjudication:
Bids will be evaluated in line with the Emfuleni Local Municipality Supply Chain Management Policy and the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act No. 5 of 2000.
The 80/20 preferential points system will apply, as outlined in the bid documents.
