The Western Cape Department of Infrastructure (formerly Department of Transport and Public Works) has issued a tender for solar PV, battery energy storage system, and electrical vehicle charging station installation, operation and maintenance in the province.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representatives of the employer will take place at 9 Dorp Street, ground floor in Cape Town, on 4 December 2024, starting at 11am
The contract will include a 3-year term service agreement.
It is estimated that tenderers should have a Construction Industry Development Board contractor grading of 6EB or 6EP or higher. Preferences are offered to bidders who have Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) status level of contribution.
