A proposed four-season agreement between Infront and England’s Football Association to sell FA Cup broadcast rights in various international markets has not been signed off despite the agency being selected as the preferred bidder, SportBusiness understands.
Following the issuing of an invitation to tender (ITT) at the start of the year, Infront looked set to secure a contract from 2024-25 onward covering the Asia-Pacific region, Eastern Europe, sub-Saharan Africa, Central and South America.
